Protecting your computer from browser malware

When you visit sites that are not exactly legitimate, you may run the risk of downloading an unwanted program. Often, you could be tricked into thinking it’s a legitimate site (usually in a spam email or misspelled domain name) Once you’re on this site, their scripts will try to exploit the browser’s vulnerability in order to gain access to your computer. This can be very bad because if it is successful, you’ll be infected with malicious software that will cause a security breach in your computer.
